Earthquakes and severe weather update

Following Monday's earthquakes, and the extreme weather on Tuesday, our Wellington office is now open.

Business-as-usual

Our Wellington staff worked remotely on Monday and Tuesday while our building was assessed. For all our other teams it was business as usual and our services continue without interruption.

All urgent payments, such as first home withdrawals required for settlements, will be paid as expected. However if you are posting us any new withdrawal or other applications, please allow extra time for delivery of your mail. Updates from NZ Post can be found here.

Call Centre

Our Helpline is operating as usual. Although we understand some of our customers in the Christchurch and Wellington regions are experiencing some phone issues.
