In order to better protect customer’s information on our website, we’ll soon be adding a new security access step known as multifactor authentication (MFAu). In the near future, when you log in to your account you’ll be asked to set up MFAu.
MFAu combines your username and password with an additional security factor — a temporary numeric code sent to you — to confirm your identity and keep your information secure.
You may already use MFAu if you access banking or social media websites or apps.
When you use multifactor authentication, a stolen password isn't enough for an unauthorised person to gain access to your sensitive data or our critical technology systems.
Although multifactor authentication will provide an additional layer of security, choosing a strong password and keeping it safe is still very important. We recommend using strong, unique passwords for each online account.
